[BusinessGrad] Cooney Hall Masking - Update

BSOB Students,

I hope that the fall semester has gotten off to a good start for each of you.  Your faculty and staff are very glad to have you back on campus and in full classrooms.

I know that we had all anticipated coming back to campus this fall and not wearing masks - I'm sorry that we are having to keep that up this fall...I KNOW you are ready to be mask-free and we are equally ready for that day.

Unfortunately, we are not there so I need to ask for your help.

While many of our faculty and staff are fully vaccinated, they go back to homes with children that are too young to be vaccinated, parents who are in at-risk categories and loved ones that are dealing with serious health issues.  Many of our faculty and staff are, themselves, in high-risk categories but are coming to campus to deliver an excellent in person classroom experience.  I want them to feel as safe as possible in Cooney Hall as they work every day to help you.  Additionally, many of your classmates are in at-risk situations and have family in loved ones that have serious health issues that would be compromised by a COVID exposed family member in the home.

I wanted you to know why we are asking you to mask up during classes and stay masked up in Cooney Hall's halls and common areas between classes.

Please make every effort to stay masked up while in Cooney Hall.  Thank in advance for your cooperation.
