[Trombone-l] Contra question

aw, Dan.... now that I've tried your idea, and now that I've got to go 
see Dick Akright,  I guess I shoulda read this post first!
(just kidding, of course)
But... you mention tenor (tenor???  isn't that one of those shrunken 
bass trombones?)  I do have a problem when I switch from bass to contra. 
I get those brain-farts, and start mixing the positions, AND.... the 
spit valve is operated in different places, and... and...
