I¹m glad you had sense enough to alert everyone to the Kinkos/Staples, etc.
book trick. I¹ve been doing this since the 80s (just did it again this week
as a matter of fact I put 3 books by the same author together in one
binding) and have never been able to understand why publishers think it¹s OK
to flood the market with reams of material that won¹t lie flat on a music
stand? What¹s that you say? MONEY? Hey, we all know it¹s LESS EXPENSIVE FOR
THE PUBLISHER to throw on a couple of staples! Sadly, if we want something
that works conveniently, we must cough up the extra $ required for rebinding
the books.
