Let me second the recomendation of CAD mics. The C-70 is an excellent
sounding mic at a good price. For around $150 or less they include 2
capsules, omni and cardiod. I have used them as individual mics on the
trumpets for quintet recording, and also as a matched pair for
ensembles.

Subject: [Trombone-l] condenser mic
Hello listers,
I am looking for a good condenser mic. Someone recommended the Studio
Project C1. Have any of you ever used this? Are there any other mics
that I
should consider?
