[Trombone-l] Basic and trombone

I forgot one funny detail that should have gone into my previous post.  
The band I did my OJT with was supposed to be 28 by TOE, but was a little
under strength.    The 7 or 8 Guard and Reserve OJTs brought the band up to
around 32.  Funny thing is that of those roughly 32 players, 6 or 7 of us
were 'bone players.    My MOS was supposed to be trombone, but when I went
to supply for a horn, I found out I was playing euph.  No one else could
(or was willing to) play euph.    Bottom line is this: I was awarded my
trombone MOS at the end of my 8 weeks, and no one there ever heard me play
trombone.   Gotta love it-
