[Trombone-l] Pre Sale Notice

Before I list on the OTJ Classifieds, I figured I'd give any interested
Lister a heads up on these.

1. Benge 290 inline rotary bass bone with fixed leadpipe and 85/15 alloy 10"
gold brass bell. Slide drops quickly w/o any hitches. Slight patina from not
having been used in 10 years. Original hardshell case in near mint condition
included. Well used but functional ProTec case included. Specs are single
bore 0.562" yellow slide w/yellow crook; yellow MTS (tuning slide). Popular
West Coast bone store advises price range should be $1500-$2000 but no more.
Selling for $1500 including CON USA ground shipping. Oh, the reason for the
290 sale? It belongs to a young (30 yo) friend who is financing his move to
LA in search of work as a TV script writer.

2. Also available at additional cost are a top of the line ProTec Deluxe
Bass Trombone gig bag, model C245? near new condition, discounter price
$140, will sell for $100.

3. Additionally, I have available a rare yellow brass Benge 290 bell in
excellent condition, no dents at all, polished but not lacquered. Will sell
for $250 or trade for close toleranced 0.525" UMI slide (no expectations of
getting a Shires!), preferably w/nickel tubes. Can have worn finish and
scratches.

4. Finally, I have a Shires gold brass, B taper bass MTS (tuning slide) for
$250 firm or trade for Shires gold brass tenor (0.547" bore) MTS (tuning
slide).
