[Trombone-l] Trombone for new elementary - Now Bass Trb in C-Bb?

Further to my previous post, it seems that the YSL-350C does in fact have
only 5 positions in Bb for short arm students.  But a full length 7 position
slide could be used on a pro bass 'bone version, offering a fully chromatic
range down to pedal CC on the F side.  If it makes the low C and B less
stuffy, it seems like a good idea to me, plus with independent valves and
the appropriate tuning you would have a G trombone too.
