Oh! And my 1st horn was a $250 Baldwin Special with a Bach 11c. I'd  
complain but it got me through high school and into the Cincinnati  
Conservatory.

(I think it just boils down to the individual horn and the kids'  
wanton drive to beat the heck out of the thing...)

Did I mention I used to practice in my parents bedroom which was  
right off the living room–so they'd HAVE TO listen to me?? (I was a  
rotten kid.)  #;-)
