I've been trying to find info on the student Bb/C model.  I'm guessing the
slide has 6 positions in Bb therefore low Db should be possible with an
added F valve.  Seems like a good option for bass 'bone design to me, 'cept
you wouldn't be able to play the pedal C at the end of my "Mr. Nice Guy"
chart.  Dang it!  They'll just have to make it with an optional 3rd valve
add on (or get a French horn player to stick his hand in your bell for the
last note, or is that a bari sax player's foot?).
