I didn't notice when this thread came up. I live and work in the Los  
Angeles area.

I've noticed my work increase recently. This last Christmas season was  
my best since the 1980's. My January and February this year are about  
20-25% higher that previous years. My calls for Easter this year are  
so far about double. I have more calls now than for work in general  
than in quite a while. I expect a pretty good 2009.

I hope others are having good luck too.
