Hi all! Howard et al: I've just been engaged to play "tuba" for Mascagni's "L'amico Fritz". I'm sure the part will be marked "tuba", but as a 19th c. Italian Opera, I'm suspicious of this. What's this really written for? Thanks for any help y'all can offer! J.c.
