Oh, man! Leroy's one of the 1st trumpet players in a loooong time that really perked my ears up. Prolly the most lyrical/melodical soloist of any horn I've heard. He really makes it sing. Great lines!
Snooky Young does that to me, too.

Hi Ray (et al),
Lucien Babarin is one of my favorite jazz trombonist- such incredible
soul in hi playing.
He's been a regular in Harry Connick Jr.'s big band and is featured in
his live concerts.
One of my favorite recordings is a duo with he and New Orleans wizard
Leroy Jones (IMHO the heir to Louis Armstrong). Check out "Props for
Pops"
It's phenomenal.
