I have been playing for over 30 years with both upper and lower partial
plates. The upper includes one of the large front teeth. It has never been a
problem despite heavy playing in brass and concert bands and in the last 10
years, an orchestra. This is your least expensive alternative and if they
fit properly should not be a problem.
Btw, I am 77 and still play in a brass band and as principal in our
community orchestra, which is doing Symphony Fantastique this season, Can
anyone put the high e flat in my Bach 36?
Dave.
