[Trombone-l] Dental Implants

My wife has  a jaw tooth implant that was put in place about 20 years ago. 
It replaced a tooth which had had a root canal and crown and had "gone bad" 
and couldn't  support a new crown. Her dentist at the time wrote a letter to 
our insurance company explaining that an implant was the only option and 
they paid for part of it (no more than half as I recall) Different city, 
different dentist, different insurance company so I don't know what would 
happen if the need for another one would rise, but she has has been so 
pleased she would have another one regardless. I personally have been 
blessed with strong teeth so I can't speak for myself
