Edgar,
About 15 (maybe more) years ago, I had post & crowns done on my 3 front
upper teeth. All 3 teeth had previously had root canals and one was
noticeably discoloured. The work has held up wonderfully and I have not
had any adverse impact on my playing because of it. I do find that my
gums are receding a bit, which causes a bit of concern, but no major
problem so far. I wouldn't hesitate to get the work done again.
I'm not sure if there are better options out there now - what is
involved with implants?

Peter.
