What strikes me as being odd about them, is that some are easier
than others. Seems to me they ought to all be about the same, since
they are all -- well, false, or artificial -- but some of them are
rather difficult to sound, like a low E flat in flat third, but no
F-attachment -- but a low C on a 2B -- well, you can just about blow the
bell off the darn horn!
