As someone who avoided Vietnam, this video has taught me a great deal about the benefits of a military education.  This men at attention, were demonstrating the ability to keep a stiff upper lip, so to speak, while witnessing an abomination.  It's a useful skill in war and it's useful when sitting in the back of a practicing orchestra.
