Another sign of the Apocalypse
Today we add to our inventory item 73291 - Piano Accompaniments to
Rochut, v.1, Nrs 2 - 20. This book is a direct piano accompaniment
volume for the popular Carl Fischer book Melodious Etudes for Trombone,
v.1 (our item 00857). We have not ever had a book that was a direct
piano accompaniment. Instead we have had books that were close, but not
spot-on, such as Tezak/Sluchin. Now we have a simple answer for those
looking for piano accompaniments. It is brought to you by David Schwartz
of Bordogni CD and Breakfast for Trombone fame. This new volume
contains printed accompaniments to numbers 2 through 20. There is no
CD. Number 1 is not included as it was not written by Bordogni, but
rather was an original work by Rochut that does not have a piano
accompaniment.
Rochut volume 1 has 60 etudes. This new book covers only the first 20
(minus number 1 as mentioned). Schwartz is planning possible follow-on
editions for numbers 21 through 60 in the future, though no date is yet
set for their release.
