Happy New Year,
I have also had a problem with a rude TSA employee. I am not a frequent flyer, and had printed off a boarding pass at home. When the TSA agent asked for my boarding pass, I gave him the wrong one, so he asked me again for my boarding pass. By this time, I was rattled, and he just kept asking me for the boarding pass. So, I told him to calm down, that I was trying to figure out which piece of paper was my boarding pass. I also told him that I did not fly often. He immediately became Mr. Toughguy, and said that I better watch my mouth and that he did not have to calm down....real nice, huh? Anyway, I had the pass in my hand the entire time, and I believe that he could see it. (A**hole). The next TSA agent that I saw asked me if I was ok, and I said not really. She said that she was sorry, and would I like a complaint form. She even gave me Gary's full name. I filled out the form, and submitted it. I also emailed the TSA notifying them that I had sent a complaint. I asked them to please notify me of what action was taken. That was 3 years ago. Good luck with your complaint!

Subject: [Trombone-l] Transiting DFW with multiple bags

Son Mike has a bad experience at DFW today -- "Raye", a young lady
working for American Airlines, just totally lost her temper with him.
It sounded to me like she was absolutely spoiling for a fight -- when
she first walked up, she pushed the other clerk out of the way, saying
"I'll handle THIS one". Mike wouldn't even raise his voice to her while
she was absolutely screaming at him in the terminal, that he had brought
too many bags. She was just totally rude, and went so far as to ask his
name and input some data in the computer about him. And she refused to
give her full name.

Mike was carrying a small briefcase, a garment bag, and a trombone
in a gig bag. All this was fin leaving Lubbock, but this "Raye" took it
upon herself to change the rules on the spot.

How can I follow up on this? Or SHOULD I??? Should he? What do we
need to do here?

Thanks,
Earl
