[Trombone-l] Transiting DFW with multiple bags

There was a letter from the TSA to the AFM a couple of years ago and it
informs the TSA that musical instruments do not count as one of the carry on
bags.  I keep a copy of that letter in each gig bag and have had to show it
many times.  The TSA folks and the airline folks (American in particular as
I'm in DFW) have never turned me away with it.
