Earl,

Eastman makes a great hard fiberglass case that I have been using for
about two years and love. It only weighs about 10 lbs., is very
durable and has five latches on it. No zippers! It doesn't have a
fabric covering, it is fiberglass on the outside, very waterproof.
It only costs about $250. It comes with removable backpack type
straps so you can carry it around on your back if you have along way
to go. It comes in a bunch of colors, but believe me you want
black. The others are weird. Your horn will fit. They look like
this http://www.eastmancasecompany.com/jw/trombone.htm but the
photo is the tenor case.

The Bonna case is about $450 or so. If you like the Bonna case,
Steve Shires is selling one that is almost exactly the same that you
can get for around $260. It has a hard fiberglass shell covered with
Cordura and closes with a zipper. The insides are all movable
blocking held in place with velcro. I don't see anything about them
on his web site, but they look just like the Bonna case. Only
available in black.

I know where you can buy them, if your interested and can't find them
near you.
