I guess it's too late to evacuate  and to curl into the fetal position on 
the terrazzo in response to the clerk's aggression.

I think that Mike should be the one to complain if *he* wants to do so.  The 
description of the incident sounds as though your son knows the moral high 
ground of keeping his cool and picking his battles carefully.  I think that 
you can be proud that Mike is able to keep his head when, all about him, 
everyone is losing theirs. [Invictus--remember that one?]  You've trained 
him well:  Congratulations.  Now, let him be the adult and decide what 
should happen next.

Anyway, a letter to the president's office should suffice, given enough 
details in the complaint.  It is not unusual for an employee to offer a 
first name only, stalking being a consideration in these unfortunate 
matters.
