I had a similar experience in Atlanta this summer. Delta urged me to write
TSA, as there is a 'complaint' section on the TSA website. Also, find out
from DFW management who the TSA station manager is and contact him/her
directly--probably Certified USPS.
Somebody's ass needs to cook for this.

Subject: [Trombone-l] Transiting DFW with multiple bags
Son Mike has a bad experience at DFW today -- "Raye", a young lady
working for American Airlines, just totally lost her temper with him.
It sounded to me like she was absolutely spoiling for a fight -- when
she first walked up, she pushed the other clerk out of the way, saying
"I'll handle THIS one". Mike wouldn't even raise his voice to her while
she was absolutely screaming at him in the terminal, that he had brought
too many bags. She was just totally rude, and went so far as to ask his
name and input some data in the computer about him. And she refused to
give her full name.
Mike was carrying a small briefcase, a garment bag, and a trombone
in a gig bag. All this was fin leaving Lubbock, but this "Raye" took it
upon herself to change the rules on the spot.
How can I follow up on this? Or SHOULD I??? Should he? What do we
need to do here?
Thanks,
Earl
