Why not?  I did an arrangement of Rich Mullins "Awesome God" for double 
bass, bass trombone, and piano that I've played with my son, the bass 
player, at church several times.  A lot of plunger-multiphonics (the 
Jolly Ball plunger works great) in that.  It's always a big hit.
