Hi Wayne,
That's also why I bought a pixie. Some folks look at it funny when I use it. 
Questions like "where do the batteries go?"
Check out Booty Woods with a plunger. Heard him do a solo on Mood Indigo 
years ago. Also Benny Green does good stuff with a plunger.
