[Trombone-l] Schumann 1

Just received the music for Schumann 1 which is on our orchestra's May 
concert. The music is in the alto clef and I am wondering if it is 
customarily played on the alto or if it could be played on a tenor, say a 
Bach 36, instead.

April is a very busy month for my brass band and I am not keen on having to 
devote time to getting up to speed on the alto if it is not necessary.

Any advice would be appreciated.
