[Trombone-l] Gold Star for Steve Witser!

Per the question of purchasing the cards, I asked the same question and was
told that currently they are NOT selling the cards, as they hand them out
for free during education events, so they didn't think it would be fair to
sell them elsewhere. I thought this was silly (why not put a few sets in the
gift shop for people who never go to education events?), but I DID help
myself to a free set, including extra Steve cards. I can make a scan of both
sides and email it to anyone who just wants to see it.

 Hey Alisha,

Can you tell me where I can purchase some of these trading cards? I've GOT
to have the one with Witser! Also, did they have stats? THAT would be
fun!

Thanks,
James

Just thought y'all might find this as amusing as I did: I was just down at
Disney Hall volunteering with the LA Philharmonic's education department,
and what we were doing was assembling full sets of "Orchestra Trading
Cards". Of the 76 cards, only ONE was a trombonist - Steve Witser. When I
asked what happened to the rest of the trombone section, the reply was,
"SOME sections aren't as good about getting their information back to us."
Ha, ha - go figure!
