[Trombone-l] Bohme Brass Sextet

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to send out an email letting everyone know about some  
new music that my brass quintet The Brass Odyssey has posted on our  
webpage. I know it might be bit off topic for the list, but it's some  
really good music that we are REALLY excited about.

A while back we got a live recording of a concert we did at Rhode  
Island College. It was recorded on an iPod and came out very well. We  
are performing the Oskar Bohme Sextet with Rhode Island College  
Trumpet Faculty member and internationally acclaimed trumpeter, Joseph  
Foley. Joe coached our group for 2 years and brought this piece to us  
one day. It's his and now one of our favorite pieces of brass chamber  
music. If you've never played it, I suggest getting a hold of it and  
playing it some time. It's a fantastic piece and deserves more  
performances than it gets.
