Mark,

The leadpipe for the Yamaha alto should fit it.  The Yamaha is .470"  
bore on the top slide and the Selman is .470 or .480 depending on  
which description you believe.  It should be close enough to work,  
and any Yamaha dealer can order you the part.  Yamaha parts are  
usually not too expensive either.  If you try it, let us all know how  
it works (I actually own a Selman too).
