[Trombone-l] do you object to teaching euph/baritone?

I think the the teacher's responsibility is:
1. To inform the Euphonium student of the small amount of opportunities for 
a euphonium in the market; then it's the student's decision.
2. Encourage the student towards doubling on trombone or tuba. Thats not so 
hard for a good Euphonium player, and also develops some aspects of his/hers 
euphonium playing.
One of Israel great Euphonium players, Eran Levy, resides in Switzerland and 
has a career as a soloist and a clinician, but he also plays great trombone.
