For $60 each you can take a chance. These are Chinese made diaphragms,
and have some cheap electronics for the in-mike preamp section. They
have a fairly significant high end peak from 7k - 9k Hz according to
the curve on their website. That peak will give you "air" and other
unwanted noise from the hall.

My *guess* is these will not be as good as an Audio-Technica 2020
(another Chinese diaphram based mic). Might sound fine on trombone,
but you will have to experiment with how fair you pull them back from
you when you play.
I'm not familiar with the Edirol, but I doubt the built in mic pre-amps
are wonderful. You might experiment with better pre-amps if you can
find them.
