[Trombone-l] Name that tune

Hi guys,

I'm trying to identify two songs.  Many years ago, a horn player handed
me a cassette tape that some trombone playing buddies had made him
decades earlier.  It had some awesome playing on, but no track
information, so I have no idea what I'm listening to.

The first song I don't have a recording of any more, and I can only
remember the first line right now.  I have noted it down as best as I
can remember.  I'll add the rest if I remember it.  It was played by
what sounds like either a large-ish trombone ensemble or possibly a
trombone choir.

The second I have digitised before the tape was completely worn out.  I
don't know if there is any copy-right on it, so I have just made a low
quality mp3 of the intro.
