[Trombone-l] jj johnson like supersax?

Hey trombonists- I have a question:
I'm thinking of voicing out a bunch of JJ solos in 4 or 5 part tight
voicing, like Supersax. (For the youngsters--Supersax was a group in
the 70's that played Charlie Parker solos voiced out for 5 saxes---like
a sax soli in a big band. They were very popular when they first came out.)
My question is, do you think trombone quartets would go for this kind of
thing? Or trombone sections in a big band? I'm not talking about full
charts---just currently existing transcribed solos, voiced out for
trombone quartet. A set of them would be reasonably priced---say, 8
tunes for $20.
I'd appreciate any feedback at all, because it would be a large
investment of my time, and I would want to make sure there is some kind
of desire for this before starting. Thanks!, (and thanks to all on this
great forum)...
