[Trombone-l] Rimsky-Korsakov

The information I can find indicate that he wrote all three
military-band concerti for no particular soloist. He was inspector of
the Soviet naval bands, and simply wanted some better repertoire in
their book. He never assigned these military concerti an opus number,
nor did he authorize their publication. They were published in 1950,
posthumously.
