[Trombone-l] info on a King 2B Liberty

This thread has piqued my curiosity. My one-owner-1949-vintage 2B has the
same 6 digit S/N on both the inner and outer slides as well as on the bell
near the brace. The same is true of my much-travelled-30's vintage
Silvertone.
My 3B and 2B SilverSonic - both of late 50's vintage - have the S/N on both
parts of the slide but no number at all on the bell section.
All are of H.N. White manufacture, so the current question apparently deals
with changes made by one of the subsequent owners of the Mark.
Not looking for answers - just thought I'd add a another potato to the stew
pot!
