[Trombone-l] info on a King 2B Liberty

I have two Kings from the `70s, a 2B and 3B with F attachment. Each
has a four-digit number on both parts of the slide, different from the
serial number near the bell brace. The rotary valve has a three-digit
number on the bearing and the outside of the casing. I'm guessing that
these extra numbers are for matching parts that belong together, once
they've been hand-fitted.

Or Chris could be right. Maybe all dual-bore 2B slides have the same
four-digit number, and so on.
