O yea. We have a fair collection of Bob's arrangements, but some of the
stuff that Trombones-L.A. did on that CD was really great. Always
looking for octet music...

John,

The Christmas Carols from Robert Elkjer are excellent. They are only
quartets, but we have doubled up on the parts several off and on over
the past few years. They are very challenging, but CAN be played with
some practice, and the harmonies are wonderful. Whoever is playing the
first part occasionally needs some good high chops, double high C and
D's, but the other 3 parts are all well within the range of any decent
player.

As has been said many times on this list, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE
solves many of our limitations.

Phil

True, but I haven't seen any arrangements for TROMBONE-ONLY octets...

I'd love to get my hands on a couple-three of the arrangements Bill had
on the "Carols from the Bells" CD last year.
