Hello everyone,

I found a King 2B Liberty today while going through some instruments my district had in storage, and I'm looking for some more info on it. If you can verify/correct the following info, please email me off list.

The serial number is 686675, so I think it was made between 1975-1980?

The slide has a different serial number, 1789. I am thinking that it's not even a King slide because with a serial number like that it would be from the 1890's. But, it has the locking mechinism on the correct side to fit the King, which is unusual for other brands I think. So any ideas where this slide came from?

It should be a dual bore .481- .491 (assuming the slide is a match)?

How much might it be worth with some pretty significant wear, but no major dents?

Thanks in advance!
