I'll second John's endorsement. I've known dj (I keep it lowercase
because daddy-o dj doesn't believe in caps :) ) for probably ten years
and he either has or can broker everything from a rusty but still
sweet-playing beater to a gold-plated sterling silver bell horn with
engraving all the way to the mouthpiece, and his prices are very
old-fashioned. (I think he's still around $400 for a midrange average
condition 2B or 6H, maybe $500 nowadays...those were 'bay prices 7-8
years ago and are outstandingly cheap by today's standards.)
