[Trombone-l] Graefe Concerto question

Does anyone on the list know if the main theme from the Graefe Concerto is
from another source?  It seems like the kind of theme that might have been
taken from an opera or something of that sort (like the Sachse coming from
Norma), and I¹d love to have one of my students listen to the appropriate
original source material if that is an option.
