Following my previous post: 
I found some info about Bert Kaempfert's video -"Jumpin' at the Woodside" (unfortunately the video itslef is discontinued):

...The trombone soloist is Jiggs Whigham from the US who was a featured soloist with one of Stan Kenton's great road bands and has been living abroad. 
Also seen on bass trombone is Romanian-born Peter Herbolzheimer, leader and arranger of his own great German-based big band.
