[Trombone-l] Audition Musings on OTJ

Hi all,

The orchestra I play in, The Long Beach Symphony recently had a bass  
trombone audition.

I placed two lengthy posts about it over at trombone.org. They are  
titled, "Audition Musings" [Part 1 and 2], under "The Business of  
Music".

I covered a lot of what will be familiar territory to most of you,  
but I found the whole process "from the other side of the screen"  
very interesting and thought I'd share some observations.

Hopefully, some of you might find something of interest there, and I  
am curious to hear any questions/feedback you may have.
