Firstly, condolences (about the tape recorder, that is). 

Secondly, being "like McCain" could mean something really good or something really bad, depending on your politics, etc.



Some fellow at work bid me "Good morning sir".

I suggested that he wouldn't have said that to a youngster, so I took it to mean "Good morning decrepit old guy".

But I also challenge people who tell me to "Have a nice day".  I already have a wife to tell me what to do.  Besides, I had other plans.
