So this means two things:
First, you actually have a Liberty, not a Liberty 2-B. They were two
different horns: the Liberty had a straight .485 bore and is
identifiable by its slide crook being attached to the outer stockings
(which are brass) with ferrules. The Liberty 2-B was/is a .481/.491
dual bore and is identifiable by its slide crook being lapped over the
ends of the outer stockings (which are nickel silver).
Second, you have the standard H. N. White counterweight, which was 6 oz
- thus the 6. They also, I believe, made an 8 oz counterweight for horns
with heavier bells.
