 1) Do you consider yourself a professional trombonist or an amateur
trombonist?
- Yes (a retired professinal, still active in teaching).

 2) Do you regularly play trombones of differing bore size (i.e. small
bore tenor and large bore tenor, or bass and tenor)?
Yes - not reugularly - most my horns are large bore, but I play a euphonium
(Yamaha 361) and valve trombone with small bore.
As well I often play my students' small bore horns.

 3) Do you use the same size mouthpiece rim on the different sized
trombones?
Yes - even same cup - thank to a Doug Elliot mouthpiece that allows me
changing the rim on my bass trombone cup.
Actually I have 4 different shanks:
Bass trombone; small tenor; tuba, and European medium bore (yes, such an
animal exists) which fits my bass trumpet and and old
medium bore Amati tenor trombone which I have. Also fits some euphoniums in
the music school where I teach.

Best Wishes
