[Trombone-l] Numbers for Rim Survey

Ok,...survey says!
I got 80 responses from people that played different sized trombones.
Of those 80, 50 consider themselves professionals.
Of the 50 pros, 16 use same rim set ups and 34 use different rim set ups.
Of the 30 amateurs that responded and play different sized trombones,
14 use same rim set ups and 16 use different rim set ups.
After we go to class and do whatever it is we are going to do to these
numbers, I'll tell you if they mean anything. Of course, I'm sure
some of you (you know who you are) can tell us if they mean anything
already.
Thanks again. This was way more fun that seeing how many high school
freshman can match a sung pitch.
