I'm pleased to be joining the party onstage for the shows in New England on the 6th and 7th. Fun!

Subject: [Trombone-l] Wes Funderburk with the Boston Brass

Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you know that I will be on tour with the Boston Brass All-Stars Big Band from Dec. 1 - Dec. 9. The big band will be performing the Stan Kenton Christmas Carols and the Boston Brass quintet will be playing some amazing original arrangements done by their French hornist/arranger, J.D. Shaw. When I toured with them last year the band included Sam Pilafian, Scott Hartman, Jens Lindemann, bass trombonist, Brian Kay and our very own Tom Gibson! I understand from the Boston Brass that there might be a few surprise guests joining the band, especially on our California dates! If you're in the area please come by and say hello...

As far as I know these dates and locations are set:

Dec. 2 - Meng Concert Hall, California State University, Fullerton, CA
Dec. 3 - Dinkelspiel Auditorium, Palo Alto, CA
Dec. 6 - (Location TBA), Camden, ME
Dec. 7 - East Providence High School, East Providence, RI
Dec. 8 - (a date just got added somewhere outside of Scranton, PA..I'll have it on my website as soon as I know)

For more information go to www.bostonbrass.com.

Thanks and I look forward to meeting a few list members along the way!
