Bay Colony Brass will give its Fall Concert on Friday, November 21,
at St. Malachy Church, 99 Bedford Street, Burlington, MA, at 8:00 PM.
Admission is free; donations are accepted. Parking and handicapped
access are provided.

The 20-piece ensemble of trumpets, cornets, French horns, trombones,
euphoniums and tubas will play music by Anton Dvorak, Francis
Poulenc, Anton Bruckner, Charles Hubert Parry, Malcolm Arnold, Arthur
Bliss, spirituals, and more. Conductor and musicologist Jerry Cadden
will comment on the music and on brass playing in general.

Bay Colony Brass was formed in 2000 to provide an ensemble for brass
musicians interested in playing this music and for those interested
in hearing original and transcribed music for brass. Much of the
music it plays is arranged for the group by its members.

The group performs two full concerts yearly at St. Malachy's and
contributes to St. Malachy's Christmas concert. It also gives
concerts at other venues in the Boston area. The concert should prove
especially interesting to young brass players. Music teachers are
invited to encourage their students to attend.
