Wayne and anybody else who might be close enough to Dallas to come to
the gig,
The gig is Nov. 16, next Sunday. Below I'll paste the official
announcement.
To be clear, I play in the group now but I'm not on the recording. I
wasn't in the group back then. I get nothing from sales of the CD, I
just recommend if you like jazz trombone you should get one. Conrad
Herwig made a guest appearance on the album...it has to one of his
earliest recordings, he was still a student at UNT, but absolutely
amazing playing. Incredible solos also by Chris Seiter and Ken
George. Textbook examples of how to play lead by the great Dick Cole
and John Osborne. Wonderful bass trombone work by John Wasson and
Chuck Mandernach.
