[Trombone-l] trombone soloist with chamber string orchestra

I am seeking some suggestions of solos for a upper high school trombonist to
play with chamber string orchestra. It will be a feature for the student in
his final year of high school (2009). He has progressed well with solid
technique and a 3 octave range (pedal Bb to Bb above the stave). 

The chamber orchestra (strings only no woodwind/brass or percussion) parts
will need to be fairly easy as they will mostly be played by students. 


I had thought may be a slightly simplified version of the 2nd movement of De
Meij's T-Bone concerto would be nice. Does anyone know of an orchestral
arrangement of this?
